SonaUiki is a WikiWiki for the discussion and advancement of the Sona language. Sona is a ConstructedLanguage created by KennethSearight.
Goals
This wiki has several goals:
- To organize the Sona community on the World Wide Web
- To help people practice using Sona
- To create Sona learning material for speakers of many languages
- To write new works in Sona -- fiction, essays, reference material, poetry -- that breathe life into the grammar and vocabulary
Language
We use English and Sona on this wiki. However, we're interested in creating reference materials, introductions, etc., in multiple languages.
Reform
We have a section of the wiki dedicated to SonaDerivatives? -- languages that reform or fix perceived deficiencies in Sona. On this wiki, however, the language defined in the 1935 book Sona: an auxiliary neutral language (the SonaBook) is canonical. We aim to use the original ideas and spirit of Searight's language.

All content on this wiki is available under the Creative Commons Attribution license(approve sites). If you'd like to reuse this content, all you need to do is make sure you specify who edited the pages (see the page history for details).

Uiki
The name "Uiki" is kind of a mishmash of English (the source language, kind of) and Sona. You could think of "Uiki" as ui ki -- "Indeed, start!"
